Our logo is an instantly recognizable symbol of our brand. We are very proud of it, and when used the right way people can spot us at a glance.
This is the logo that should always be used when possible. It's the gold standard for our brand.
The Exclusion Zone - shown above - is equal to one NEOGOV "O". This space ensures the legibility and impact of our logo by isolating it from competing visual elements such as text and supporting graphics. This zone should be considered as the absolute minimum safe distance, in most cases the logo should be given even more room to breathe.
For use when the number of colors for a piece is limited, such as on swag or embroidery, or when the full-color logo is placed on a background that would make the contrast ratio less than 4:1.
For use on solid-color backgrounds, or on images with an overlay, where the color logo would create a contrast ratio of less than 4:1.
For specialty use only, when printing is limited to black and white or greyscale. Most often employed for swag and embroidery.
Never alter our logo in any way. Do not re-color, skew, stretch, slant, warp, crop or tilt the logo. Never add an effect such as a drop-shadow, gradient, or stroke.
Our Brand Font is Proxima Nova, a full-featured OpenType font available on desktop and web. This is the only font that should be used in all communications in order to maintain strong consistency for the NEOGOV brand.

Calls to Action: Buttons for NEOGOV CTAs should be set in all-caps, white, 20px bold font with no underline. The background should be NEOGOV Navy, with an optional rollover animation to change the background to NEOGOV Sky. Buttons should have a border radius of 4px, with at least 15px of padding. See the example below.

NEOGOV has general iconography that can be used in websites, presentations, and collateral to express ideas. These icons are simple, single-color, thin-line graphics, either in NEOGOV Sky or grey on white backgrounds, or white on colored backgrounds. Access our brand library to see all icons.
Creating a successful brand starts with our customers, which come in all shapes, sizes, races, and ages. Photographs should always strive to reflect that diversity, as well as feel authentic and relatable.
All images should be in color, and focus on real, professional people in real work situations. Cheesy, posed stock photos and clip-art/illustrations are to be avoided in all cases, as are images that show outdated paper processes like handed-in resumes or printed-out charts. If a computer screen is shown, use a mockup of our actual application.
NEOGOV is a platform for Public Sector HR. It is the parent brand of several other brands, and stands alone when mentioned. (ex."NEOGOV is a platform...) When mentioning other brands with it, those brands are "by NEOGOV" (ex. PowerDMS by NEOGOV).
When mentioning a single NEOGOV product, use the term NEOGOV [Product] in the first mention of a body of text. (ex. NEOGOV Perform) After that mention, just use [Product]. (ex. Perform)
NEOED is a platform for Education HR, and because of its unique market and branding it stands alone in text mentions. (ex. "NEOED is a platform..."). Products for NEOED follow the same text conventions as NEOGOV.
PowerDMS is a platform designed for our public safety audience. It should never be used alone in any context. It can be mentioned in any of the following manners:

When mentioning a single PowerDMS product, use the power icon and product name if possible in the first mention. If not, use the term Power[Product] in the first mention of a body of text. After that mention, just use [Product]. (ex. PowerAction, and then Action in later mentions.) When individual products are used together they should not be used with Power, and should just be mentioned as [Product]. (ex. IA, Action, Vitals)
